Iron man 1 story
Iron Man is a superhero movie based on the Marvel Comics character Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey Jr. The movie is directed by Jon Favreau and was released in 2008.
Tony Stark, a billionaire industrialist and genius inventor who builds an advanced suit of armor to fight crime and protect the world. After being captured by terrorists in Afghanistan, he is forced to build a weapon for them. Instead, he builds an advanced suit of armor and uses it to escape. Back in the United States, he announces that his company, Stark Industries, will no longer manufacture weapons.
Stark begins to develop the Iron Man suit further and uses it to fight crime. He also discovers that his business partner, Obadiah Stane (played by Jeff Bridges), has been secretly selling weapons to terrorists. Stane steals the original Iron Man suit and builds a larger version for himself, becoming the Iron Monger.
In a final battle, Tony fights and defeats Stane with the help of his assistant Pepper Potts (played by Gwyneth Paltrow) and his friend James Rhodes (played by Terrence Howard). Tony reveals his secret identity as Iron Man at a press conference, setting up the sequels to the movie.
