Iron Man 2 story
Iron Man 2 is a 2010 superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Iron Man. It is the sequel to 2008's Iron Man and the third film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Tony Stark, also known as Iron Man, revealing his identity to the world at a press conference. Meanwhile, Ivan Vanko, a Russian physicist, creates his own arc reactor similar to Stark's and sets out to take revenge against the Stark family.
Stark is also dealing with the fact that his arc reactor is slowly poisoning him and he is losing his mind. He appoints his trusted assistant Pepper Potts as CEO of Stark Industries and hires Natalie Rushman as a new assistant.
The US government demands that Stark hands over his Iron Man suit, but he refuses. At the same time, Stark's friend, Rhodes, steals one of his suits and hands it over to the military. Stark eventually regains control of his suits and decides to work on a new element to replace the one that is poisoning him.
Vanko, now known as Whiplash, attacks Stark during the Monaco Grand Prix using his own suit. Stark defeats him, but the event leads to Stark's rival, Justin Hammer, being hired by the government to create his own Iron Man suits.
Stark finally creates a new element and uses it to power his arc reactor, curing his poisoning. Meanwhile, Whiplash and Hammer team up to attack Stark during the Stark Expo. Stark and Rhodes, with the help of Black Widow, defeat the villains and save the day.
In the end, Stark is able to keep his Iron Man suit and continue his superhero activities, while Pepper becomes the new CEO of Stark Industries.
