Iron Man 3 story
Iron Man 3 is a 2013 superhero film and the third installment in the Iron Man film franchise. It is directed by Shane Black and stars Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man.
The movie begins with Tony Stark, who is dealing with the aftermath of the events that occurred in The Avengers. He is suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and has trouble sleeping. Meanwhile, a terrorist known as the Mandarin has been conducting a series of deadly attacks around the world, and a scientist named Aldrich Killian has developed a new technology known as Extremis, which can give human beings superhuman abilities.
Tony receives a threatening message from the Mandarin and decides to challenge him publicly. However, the Mandarin responds by targeting Stark's home, destroying it and leaving Tony presumed dead. Tony is forced to go into hiding and meets a young boy named Harley Keener who helps him repair his damaged armor and find a way to stop the Mandarin.
As Tony digs deeper into the Mandarin's true identity, he discovers that Killian is behind the terrorist's actions and is using Extremis to create an army of enhanced soldiers. Tony, with the help of his friend James Rhodes and his girlfriend Pepper Potts, must stop Killian and his army before they can cause more destruction.
In the final battle, Tony faces off against Killian and his henchmen, ultimately defeating them with the help of his latest Iron Man suit. He also discovers that the Mandarin was just a front created by Killian to distract his enemies. In the end, Tony destroys all of his Iron Man suits and undergoes surgery to remove the Arc Reactor from his chest, symbolizing that he no longer needs the technology to define himself.
The movie ends with Tony narrating that he is Iron Man and will always be, but it's the man that matters, not the suit.
