Ms. Marvel is a superhero character from Marvel Comics, who made her first appearance in 1977.
The original Ms. Marvel was Carol Danvers, a U.S. Air Force officer who gained superhuman abilities after being caught in an explosion of an alien device. She possessed superhuman strength, speed, endurance, and the ability to fly. She also had a ""seventh sense"" that allowed her to predict danger.
Carol Danvers later took on the mantle of Captain Marvel, and the Ms. Marvel name was taken up by other characters. In 2013, a new character named Kamala Khan became the new Ms. Marvel.
